Information:

1. Remove the floor plate in cab.2. Make sure there is no pressure in the hydraulic system. Move the control lever to the "FLOAT" position.3. Slowly loosen the cap on the hydraulic tank to release the pressure in the tank. Remove the cover and the plug from the drain valve on the bottom of the tank. Install a pipe nipple, tooling (A), and drain the hydraulic oil from the tank. The capacity of the hydraulic tank is 66.5 liter (16 U.S. gal.).4. After the hydraulic oil has drained, remove the pipe nipple. Install and tighten the drain plug to a torque of 70 15 N m (52 11 lb.ft.). Install the cover over the opening. 5. Disconnect control rod (2) from the steering and brake control valve for clearance.6. Disconnect inlet hose (1) and discharge hose (3) from the pump.7. Install one 5P9736 Link Bracket [part of tooling (B)] onto one of the pump inlet flange holes. 8. Install the remainder of tooling (B) to the tapped hole in the ceiling of the cab, and attach it to the link bracket on the pump.9. The weight of the hydraulic pump is 34 kg (75 lb.). Remove the two bolts that hold the pump to the flywheel housing. Use tooling (B), and remove the pump. The following steps are for installation of the implement pump.10. Put the pump in position, and install the two bolts that hold it. Remove tooling (B).11. Connect discharge hose (3) and inlet hose (1) to the hydraulic pump.12. Connect control rod (2) to the steering and brake control valve on the direct drive vehicle.13. Install the floor plates in the cab.14. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil. See the "Operation And Maintenance Guide", Form No. SEBU5768, for the correct oil type.Disassemble Implement Pump
START BY: a. remove implement pump 1. Thoroughly clean the outside of the pump. Put identification marks across the pump bodies for assembly. The marks will be reference for correct port orientation at assembly.2. Remove eight nuts (1) and cover plate assembly (2) from the pump gear housing. 3. Remove O-ring (3) and two dowels (4) from cover plate assembly (2). If bushings (5) or bushings (22) require replacement, refer to "Special Instruction", Form No. SMHS8428, before removing them from the cover plate and flange assemblies.4. If necessary, remove two bushings (5) from the cover plate assembly. 5. Remove ring retainer (9), O-ring (8), back-up ring (7) and isolation plate (6).
Use care when removing the pressure plates. Do not pry or force to remove the pressure plates since they may be damaged.
6. Carefully remove pressure plate (12) from the pump gear housing.7. Remove drive gear and shaft (10) and idler gear and shaft (11) from the pump gear housing. 8. Remove pressure plate (13) from the pump gear housing.9. Remove ring retainer (18), O-ring (17), back-up ring (14) and isolation plate (15).10. Remove pump gear housing (16) from the flange assembly. 11. Remove O-ring (19), two dowels (21), and eight
