Note: The VIDS uses the abbreviation (EIC Electronic Implement Control) in order to identify the implement ECM.The keys that are related to the implement system are listed:"AUT PITCH" Key - The "AUT PITCH" key allows the operator to turn the auto pitch function ON and OFF. For more information, see System Operation, "Automatic Pitch Function"."FLOAT" Key - The "FLOAT" key is also the "9" key on the VIDS keypad. The "FLOAT" key (9) will activate the blade float function and the "FLOAT" key (9) will deactivate the blade float function. For more information, see System Operation, "Manual Blade Function"."SET PITCH" Key - The "SET PITCH" key is also the "4" key on the VIDS keypad. The "SET PITCH" key (4) allows the operator to change the "load", the "carry" and "spread" setpoints of the auto pitch function."SET HT" Key - The "SET HT" key is also the "5" key on the VIDS keypad. The "SET HT" keyallows the operator to change the return height setpoint of the auto pitch function for the blade. The "SET MACH" key allows the operator to set the spread rate of the load and the response of the blade. The "MORE" key is used in order to toggle the display of an active diagnostic code between the text format and the format of MID-CID-FMI. For more information, see the topic Troubleshooting, "Diagnostic Code List"."GAUGE" Key - The "GAUGE" key allows the operator or service personnel to view the value of any parameter of a sensor. The parameter name and the numeric value are shown on the message area. An analog value is shown on the universal gauge if the data type is applicable. The "GAUGE" key may be used in two different ways in order to access information.
Scroll to the desired parameter. Press the "GAUGE" key. Then, release the "GAUGE" key one time. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the available parameters.
Scrolling to the desired parameter from a category of parameters (implement, engine, etc.). Press the "GAUGE" key and release the "GAUGE" key two times. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the categories. Select the desired category by pressing the "OK" key. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the available parameters within a category.While the gauge parameters are being viewed and the "OK" key is pressed, the parameter that was being viewed will remain on the message center. The selected parameter may be replaced at any time. The system will default to "ENG SPD" at powerup.
