Install O-ring seals (44) to stops (39) .
Position spool (40) in stop (39) . Install spring (43) , retainer (42) , and retaining ring (41) on the spool.
Repeat Step 2 for the other spool assembly. The spool assembly consists of the following components: Spool (40) , stop (39) , O-ring seal (44) , spring (43) , retainer (42) and retaining ring.
Install the spool assemblies to the valve manifold.
Install dowels (38) to valve manifold (17) .

Note: When you use the same coil assemblies and cartridge assemblies in the assembly procedure do not interchange the coil assemblies.
Install O-ring seals (35) to cartridge assemblies (33) . Install the cartridge assemblies in the valve manifold. Tighten the cartridge assemblies to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Position coil assemblies (34) on cartridge assemblies (33) . Install washers (36) and nuts (37) . Tighten the nuts to a torque of 13 1.5 N m (10 1 lb ft).

Install plugs (31) and seal (32) on valve manifold (17) .
Install dowels (29) in separator plate (30) . Install the plate on valve manifold (17) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Install O-ring seals (27) to plugs (28) .
Position spool (25) and spring (26) in the transmission control valve. Install plug (28) . Repeat this Step for the other spools and springs. Tighten plugs (28) to a torque of 50 7 N m (37 5 lb ft).
Install valves (24) .

Position transmission control valve (15) , as shown. Install O-ring seals (23) .
Install piston (20) , spring (21) , and spring (22) in the transmission control valve. Repeat this Step for the other pistons and springs.
Position plate (18) on the transmission control valve and install bolts (19) .

Position seal (16) and transmission control valve (15) on valve manifold (17) .
Install washers (14) and bolts (13) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).

Install the O-ring seals to cartridge assemblies (10) .
Install cartridge assemblies (10) to hydraulic manifold (5) . Tighten the cartridge assemblies to a torque of 30 3 N m (22 2 lb ft).
Install coil assemblies (11) and nut (12) . Tighten the nut to a torque of 9.5 1.5 N m (84 13 lb in).

Install dowels (7) in plate (8) .
Position seal (9) , plate (8) , seal (6) , and hydraulic manifold (5) on the transmission control valve.
Install washers
