B     -     Loctite 271     -    Start By:
Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Remove the cap from the hydraulic tank. Install Tooling (A) onto the hydraulic tank. Attach an air supply hose to Tooling (A). Apply 276 to 414 kPa (40 to 60 psi) of air. This procedure will pull vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Remove bolts (2) and plate assembly (1) .
Illustration 3 g02245313
Disconnect harness assemblies (4) and hose assemblies (6) .
Remove bolts (3) and solenoid valve (tool control) (5) .
Illustration 4 g02245314
Remove bolts (9) and solenoid valve (7) .
Remove pressure sensor (8) and plugs (10) .
Illustration 5 g02245836
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove plug (16), O-ring seal (15), spring (14), seat (13), valve (12), and O-ring seal (11) .Installation Procedure
Install solenoid valve (tool control) (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten plug (16) to a torque of 29 2 N m (21 1 lb ft).
Tighten plugs (10) to a torque of 9 1 N m (80 9 lb in).
Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 7 1 N m (62 9 lb in).
Tighten pressure sensor (8) to a torque of 48 5 N m (35 4 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (2) .
Check the hydraulic oil level. Refer to, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
