GASKET 5I4779 - Caterpillar

Disconnect existing hose (A). Install block (8) and reconnect using new hardware.
Install the components of 443-0256 Connecting Lines Group .

Disconnect existing hose (B). Install block (6) and reconnect using new hardware.
Install the components of 443-0256 Connecting Lines Group .
Connect hose (7) to the cylinder. Refer to Illustration 4.
Open manual valves (3) on each side of the stick.Note: When finished with the operation of the manual valve (1), remove the handle and place in the cab of the machine.
Remove tooling (F) from the hydraulic tank.
Test the operation of the thumb cylinder.
Inspect the fittings for hydraulic leaks.Vertically Oriented Hydraulic Lines Flange

Rotate block tee as shown (C) to align with the hole on the hydraulic lines flange.
Install the components of 443-0256 Connecting Lines Gp .Note: The use of the spacer plate (9) and bolt (20) are required when the orientation of the hydraulic lines is vertical. Bolt (19) will not be used. The lines group is otherwise installed as previously shown.Left Side

Install the components of 443-0256 Connecting Lines Gp .Note: The use of the spacer plate (5) and bolt (23) are required when the orientation of the hydraulic lines is vertical. Bolt (19) will not be used. The lines group is otherwise installed as previously shown.
