1. Remove the bolts, and disconnect two hoses (1) from the oil filter base. 2. Remove the bolts, oil filter base and housing (2) from the machine. The following steps are for the installation of the transmission oil filter.3. Put oil filter base and housing (2) into position, and install the bolts which hold it.4. Check the condition of the O-ring seals used in the ends of two hydraulic hoses (1). If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Install the O-ring seals in the ends of hoses (1).5. Connect two hoses (1) to oil filter base (2).Disassemble & Assemble Transmission Oil Filter
Start By:a. remove transmission oil filter
Do not use an air wrench to remove or install filter housing (7). Damage to the components will result.
1. Be sure the transmission oil filter is thoroughly clean and free of dirt and debris prior to disassembly. 2. Remove filter housing (7) from filter base assembly (6). Remove O-ring seal (9) from the filter housing.3. Remove filter element (8) from filter base assembly (6). 4. Remove bolts (10), and separate adapter (11) from filter base assembly (6). Remove O-ring seal (12) from adapter (11).5. Remove plug (2) and the O-ring seal from the filter base assembly.6. Remove plug (5), spool (3), and spring (1). Remove O-ring seal (4) from plug (5). The following steps are for the assembly of the transmission oil filter.7. Be sure all internal parts of the filter base assembly are thoroughly clean prior to assembly.8. Check the condition of all O-ring seals used in the transmission oil filter group. If any of the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.9. Install O-ring seal (4) on plug (5). Put clean transmission oil on all internal parts of the filter base assembly. Install spring (1), spool (3), and plug (5) in filter base assembly (6).10. Install the O-ring seal and plug (2) in the filter base assembly.11. Install O-ring seal (12) in adapter (11). Put adapter (11) on filter base assembly (6). Install bolts (10) that hold it.12. Install filter element (8) on filter base assembly (6).13. Install O-ring seal (9) on filter housing (7).
