1. The 126-1703 Actuator (1) and 126-1705 Switch Assembly (2) are serviced separately. When 126-1703 Actuator and 126-1705 Switch Assembly are assembled, the two part numbers become 126-1695 Switch Assembly (not serviced).2. Remove the former 100-4042 Switch Assembly in the left hand console. Install new 126-1695 Switch Assembly (not serviced) from Step 1.3. Move E706-OR Wire from pin location 3 (not shown) to pin location 1 (not shown) at the AESC switch harness connector. The new switch is a simple rocker switch. The former switch was a momentary contact type with a lamp to indicate mode of operation. The new switch contains a bulb for backlighting but no indicator bulb.4. Replace the existing Advanced Diesel Engine Management (ADEM) (not shown) control personality module in the Engine Control Module (ECM) with 123-2293 Control Group (3) (not shown in illustration).
