The following items describe how the system works in "Linked Elevation" Mode:
"Linked Elevation" Mode requires only one reference elevation. This means that the blade is benched over one point only.
The Guidance screen shows the reference elevation that is being worked to.
Pressing a Arrow Key (1) will apply the same elevation offset to both sides of the blade.
The Elevation Select Key (5) is inactive in "Linked Elevation" Mode. This means that both sides of the machine must use automatic mode or manual mode together.
The Linked Elevation Adjustment option is available from the Configuration menu.Operating the System
Mount the laser receivers.
Select Linked Elevation operating mode.
Place the blade several inches above the surface.
Press the left bench button in order to search for the beam.
Place the system in automatics in order for the cutting edge to match the laser plane.
Place the blade tip on a bench mark.
Press the left bench button in order to bench the system.
Set the reference elevation of the bench mark.
Apply the desired offset.
Begin operation by pressing the auto/manual switch.Independent Elevation Mode

The following items describe how the system works in Independent Elevation mode:
Independent Elevation mode requires that the reference elevation for each elevation device be set independently. This means that the blade must be benched under the left device and benched under the right device separately.
The guidance screen shows the two reference elevations that are being worked on.
Toggle the Arrow Keys (1) located on the left in order to apply an elevation offset to the left side of the blade.
Toggle the Arrow Keys (1) located on the right in order to apply an elevation offset to the right side of the blade.Toggle the remote offset switch to apply the same elevation offset to both masts.The Elevation Select Switch (5) is active in Independent Elevation mode.
