Remove Fuel Injection Valves
start by:a) remove valve cover 1. Use tool (A) to disconnect fuel line nuts (2) from the fuel injection valves and valve base adapters. Remove fuel line assembly (1). 2. Remove nut (3) that holds the fuel injection valve assembly to the adapter. 3. Use tool (B) to remove fuel injection valve assembly (4).4. If the fuel injection valves can not be removed with tool (B), use tooling (C). 5. Remove nozzle assembly (5) from valve body (6).6. Remove seal (7) from valve body (6).Install Fuel Injection Valves
1. Put clean diesel fuel on seal (2) and on the outside of tool (A).2. Put tool (A) in position on valve body (1) as shown. Install seal (2) in the groove on valve body (1). 3. Install nozzle (3) on valve body (1). Tighten nozzle finger tight only.4. Put a small amount of clean diesel fuel in the bore of the adapter.5. Use tool (B) to install the fuel injection valve assembly in the adapter.6. Install the nut that holds the fuel injection valves and tighten the nuts to a torque of 55 5 lb.ft. (75 7 N m). 7. Put clean diesel fuel on seal (4). put fuel line assembly (6) in position on the engine. Tighten fuel line nuts (5) to a torque of 30 5 lb.ft. (40 7 N m) with tool (C).end by:a) install valve cover
