SUBJECT: IDENTIFYING BACKHOE LOADERS WITH FOOT-OPERATED BOOM SWING CONTROLS THAT ARE REFERENCED IN SERVICE LETTER SEBE8639
PROBLEM:
Dealers are experiencing trouble identifying machines that are equipped with foot-operated boom swing controls. Identifying these machines is necessary in order to perform Service Letter SEBE8639.
SOLUTION:
The following Table includes a list of group part numbers to help locate machines that are equipped with foot-operated boom swing controls. Searching records with these part numbers does not guarantee the dealership will get an accurate list of machines since these controls can be installed or removed in the field. The parts could have been ordered at the piece part level. This Table is only a guide to help searching dealer records. The group part numbers include factory installed foot-operated boom swing controls and kit group part numbers that were available for retrofit in the field or by dealers.
