The ECM logs a diagnostic code when the emergency stop switch is activated. The push switch includes a mechanical latch. The switch must be twisted clockwise in order to release. The emergency shutdown control must be released before the ECM can be reset.Note: This shutdown is latched. The ECM must be powered down prior to restarting the engine. In order to restart the engine, reset the emergency stop switch. Set the engine control to the "OFF" position. Then, use the engine control to start the engine. The engine will be restarted.
