Verify that all of the components of the electric drive pump are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.
Inspect all components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.

Typical example
Position a lifting sling around the electric drive pump, as shown. Fasten the lifting sling to a hoist.

Position the electric drive pump, as shown. Install four bolts (10) and the washers. The weight of the electric drive pump is 26 kg (57 lb).
Attach cable assembly (9) .
Remove the lifting device.

Connect cable assembly (8) to the electric drive pump. Connect hose assembly (7) .

Position baffle assembly (6), as shown. Install three bolts (5) and the washers that hold baffle assembly (6) to the frame assembly.

Connect hose assembly (4) to the pump.
Connect cable assembly (3) .

Attach Tooling (A) to guard (2). Position a lifting sling on Tooling (A), as shown. Secure the lifting sling to a suitable hoist. Position guard (2). Install four bolts (1) and the washers. The weight of guard (2) is 22 kg (49 lb).
Remove Tooling (A) and the sling from guard (2) .

Install the remaining 15 bolts (1) on guard (2) .
Fill the engine with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change".
