PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1) Drain coolant and remove 3/8" NPT plug shown and install the 3E-7448 Connector, 6V-9027 O-ring seal, and new 218-3840 Pressure Sensor at the location shown in Image1.1.1.

2) Remove the existing coolant flow switch and install the 205-4821 Cover, 4N-3841 Gasket, 0S-1617 Bolts, and 9M-1974 Washers in its place at location shown in Image1.2.1. Use the 3E-3364 Receptacle and 3E-3365 Wedge, from 102-8802 Receptacle Kit, and the two 8T-8737 Seal Plugs in order to cap the harness plug that was attached to the coolant flow switch. Securely tie strap the capped off coolant flow switch breakout to the main body of the engine wiring harness.

3) Connect the 353-4498 coolant pressure wiring harness to the new coolant pressure sensor.
4) Route the coolant pressure wiring harness along the current engine wiring harness to the ECM, loosely strap it to the engine wiring harness with the 3S-2093 Tie Straps.
5) At the Engine Electronic Control Module (ECM), use a Deutsch removal tool to extract the orange and brown wires from position 2 and 3 in the engine wiring harness upper ECM connector.
6) Carefully re-position these wires into the blank connector plugged into the gray Y-connector of the coolant pressure sensor harness (See Image 1.6.1).

7) Install the orange wire into position A of the blank connector, and install the brown wire into position B of the blank connector (See Image 1.6.1).
8) For the populated connector plugged into the gray Y-connector of the coolant pressure sensor harness, plug the loose orange wire into position 2 of the engine wiring harness upper ECM connector, plug the loose brown wire into position 3 of the engine wiring harness upper ECM connector, and plug the loose yellow wire into position 24 of the engine wiring harness upper ECM connector (See Image 1.6.1).
9) After all the connections are made, ensure the coolant pressure harness is properly supported and no rub points exist. Properly tighten all the tie straps.
10) Replace coolant.
11) Flash the engine ECM with 353-1683 software file using Electronic Technician (ET) version 2009C or newer. In the configuration screen of ET under Engine Configuration Parameters make sure that the coolant pressure sensor is "Installed".
12) Flash the VIMS ECM with 357-2893 VIMS software file using Electronic Technician (ET) version 2009C or newer.
13) Start truck and ensure that the coolant pressure sensor is visible in the ET status screen and that no faults exist.
