Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto flywheel (1). The weight of flywheel (1) is approximately 216 kg (476 lb).
Remove two of bolts (2) that are indicated with an (X).

Install Tooling (C). Remove the remaining bolts (2). Remove flywheel (1).
Remove the rear crankshaft seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Rear Seal - Remove".

Disconnect clamps (3).

Remove bolts (4). Remove tube assemblies (5) and cover (6) as a unit.

Remove clips (7). Disconnect tube assembly (8). Remove bolts (9). Disconnect tube assembly (10). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the flywheel housing.

Disconnect harness assemblies (11) and remove the connecting hardware.
Remove bolts (12). Remove cover assembly (13).

Remove bolts (14), bolt (15), and plate (16). Remove gear (17).

Disconnect bracket (18).

Remove bolts (20) and bolts (21).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto flywheel housing (22). The weight of flywheel housing (22) is approximately 421 kg (927 lb). Apply slight lifting tension on flywheel housing (22).

Remove bolts (23), bolts (24), and bolts (25). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

Remove bolts (26) and bolts (27).

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to remove flywheel housing (22).
