XQ125 packaged product experiencing issues with J1939 active faults. Active fault codes 1235-9 J1939 network #3 abnormal update rate from Device 1 Engine Electronic Control Module (ECM) to Device 2 NH3 421-7786 Ammonia Sensor As and 421-7787 Controller As. This fault only becomes active with around 50% load or more, and becomes inactive when the load is removed and exhaust temperatures fall.Solution
Caterpillar ® is aware of this problem, but a permanent repair has not been identified. A rework procedure will soon follow to address the suspected field units.
