3500 The gasket kits for the 3000 engine family will not reflect the changes. The following list details the changes to the gasket kits:
The fuel injector seals will not be included in NEW cylinder head gasket kits or in NEW fuel system gasket kits. Gasket kits that have the part number 187-2858 or a higher part number will have this change.
The oil pan gaskets will not be included in new gasket kits for the front structure or NEW gasket kits for the rear structure. Gasket kits that have the part number 187-2858 or a higher part number will have this change. To avoid duplication, the seals for the injectors will not be included in new gasket kits for single cylinder heads, for multiple cylinder heads, or for fuel systems. New fuel injectors and remanufactured fuel injectors come with the seals. If an injector is removed and the same injector is reinstalled, seal kits for a single injector will be available to replace the old seals.The oil pan gasket was included in previous gasket kits for the front structure, previous gasket kits for the central and lower structure, and previous gasket kits for the rear structure. When an engine is overhauled, all three kits are used. This resulted in duplicate oil pan gaskets. To avoid this duplication, the oil pan gasket will not be included in new gasket kits for the front structure or new gasket kits for the rear structure. The oil pan gasket will only be included in the gasket kits for the central and lower structure.Adaptable To: The following gasket kits that have the part number 187-2858 or a higher part number will have the above change:

This gasket kit contains the gaskets, seals, and locking tabs that are needed to rebuild a single cylinder head. This gasket kit also contains the gaskets, seals and locking tabs that are needed to install a single cylinder head. The kit includes the gaskets for the turbocharger but the kit does not include the seals for the fuel injectors. You will need to order seal kits for single injectors
