NA - not applicable, the UPS did not detect the equipment in the UPS
Force - the UPS will update this file regardless of current revision
Updating - the target is in the process of updating currently
Pending - the target will be programmed when the target progression gets to that target
Skipped - the file is already at the required revisionProcedure
Before starting the procedure, put the UPS into Bypass Mode. Failure to be in Bypass prior to beginning will allow the auto load application to place the UPS into bypass for you.The auto load application will not run with any instances of UPSView connected between the UPS and the computer.
Connect a PC to the UPS.
For MMS, select MMU #1 with the PCI rotary switch.
Open the UPSView application.
Establish a direct connection between UPSView and the UPS.
Enter a valid user name. Enter a valid password.
On the computer, press "Alt-Z". Record all of the "Operating Parameters" except for the defaults. The results will be used for a comparison later.
Click on the menu item "Clear Password".
Terminate communications in UPSView by clicking UPSView menu. Select "Connection" and then "Disconnect".
Close UPSView. Make sure that the UPSView window is closed. Only one form of communication is possible over the serial cable.
Open the application "Autoload.exe".
Select the appropriate COM port.
Click the "Connect" button.
Follow the instructions that are on the screen. One example of an instruction is entering a user name and password when directed. Note: If the process has a problem, a message dialog will pop up in a separate dialog.An attempt to use the auto load utility in "Recovery Mode" is possible. The auto load utility will happen
