Information:

LOWER Position
Refer to Illustration 2, spool position (B).When the stabilizer control lever is moved to the Lower position, spool (2) is shifted. Supply oil in passage (4) flows into bridge passage (7). Passage (7) is connected to passages (6) and (8) through the bridge. Oil in passage (6) is blocked by spool (2). Oil in passage (8) flows into passage (9). Oil in passage (9) flows out through Port (HE), through a check valve, mounted externally from the stabilizer valve, and to the head end of the stabilizer cylinder. With the spool in the Lower position, oil from the rod end of the stabilizer cylinder flows through port (RE) into passage (5). Oil in passage (5) flows to passage (3) and out to tank. The cylinder extends.Pressure in passage (7) is also connected to load sense line (LS). If this pressure is higher than the other implements in the load sense network, this pressure will cause the pump to upstroke. When the operator releases the control lever, spool (2) returns to the HOLD position. Spool (2) blocks the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic lines. A pilot operated check valve between the stabilizer valve and the cylinder ensures that the stabilizer cylinder remains extended, and prevents drift.RAISE Position

Supply oil in passage (4) flows into bridge passage (7). Passage (7) is connected to passages (6) and (8) through the bridge. Oil in passage (8) is blocked by spool (2). Oil in passage (6) flows into passage (5). Oil in passage (5) flows out through Port (RE), and to the rod end of the stabilizer cylinder. Refer to Illustration 1. Pressurized oil in line (RE) will open the externally mounted pilot operated check valve, allowing oil to return from the head end of the cylinder. With the spool in the Raise position, oil from the head end of the stabilizer cylinder flows through the pilot operated check valve, through port (HE), into passage (9). Oil in passage (9) flows to passage (3) and out to tank. The cylinder retracts.Pressure in passage (7) is also connected to load sense line (LS). If this pressure is higher than the other implements in the resolver network, this pressure will cause the pump to upstroke. When the operator releases the control lever, spool (2) returns to the HOLD position. Spool (2) blocks the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic lines.Stabilizer Valve Equipped With Auto-Up
