The monitoring system is an electronic monitoring system that continually monitors the machine systems. The monitoring system consists of a modular monitoring system that includes the speedometer/tachometer display (1), monitoring system display (3), and gauge display (2).
Primary Steering (4) - The warning light indicates a failure in the primary steering. If equipped, the secondary steering should automatically engage. If this alert indicator flashes during operation, stop the machine immediately. A warning category 3 will alert the operator that the primary steering system has failed. In this category, the alert indicator and the action light will flash and the action alarm will sound.
The immediate shutdown of the machine is required in order to prevent severe damage to the system and/or the machine. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.
Note: The 824G II is equipped with secondary steering. When you turn the engine start switch to the ON position, primary alert indicator (4) for the primary steering will come on for three seconds. Then, the primary alert indicator will go off. If the primary alert indicator does not come on, investigate the cause of the problem. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.
