GAUGE-OIL LEVEL (DIPSTICK) 2199959 - Caterpillar

1. Remove bolts (2) and guard (1). Remove bolts (3) and muffler (4). 2. Remove bolts (6) and braces (5). 3. Remove nut (8) and wiper blade (7). 4. Remove nut (9). 5. Disconnect electrical connector (10) and reposition wiper assembly (11) out of the way. 6. Remove bolts (12) and cover (13). 7. Remove bolts (14). 8. Remove bolts (15) and cover (16). Remove two hidden bolts. 9. Remove bolts (17). 10. Remove handle (18). 11. Remove three bolts (19). Remove two bolts (20) and retainer (21). 12. Remove two bolts (23) and cover (22). 13. Remove bolts (25) and step (24). 14. Attach lifting straps to tooling (A) as shown. 15. Remove mounting bolts (26) and remove ROPS. Install in the reverse order. Apply 8T9014 Sealant as required to joint between rollover assembly and platform assembly. Tighten the top two mounting bolts (6) on the sweep to 150 20 N m (110 15 lb ft) and the bottom two mounting bolts (6) on the sweep to 875 100 N m (640 75 lb ft). Tighten the Rollover Protective Structure bolts (26) to the torque of 270 25 N m (200 20 lb ft).
