Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Use a suitable lifting device to position oscillating axle (8). The weight of oscillating axle (8) is approximately 1225 kg (2700 lb).

Install bolts (9) and (10). Tighten bolts (9) and (10) to a torque of 475 60 N m (350 45 lb ft).

Connect tube assembly (6) to axle support (7). Repeat this Step for the opposite side.

Install clips (5) and connect hose assembly (4) .

Connect hose assembly (2) and install hose assembly (3) if the machine is equipped with an axle oil cooler.

Connect harness assembly (1) .
Refill the oscillating axle with clean oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities".End By:
Install the rear drive shaft.
Install the rear tires and the rims.
