(8) Synchronization ManifoldSynchronization manifold (8) is located on the left side of the machine behind the left access door.Synchronization manifold (8) connects the two drive loops in order to assist in straight tracking of the machine. The synchronization manifold connects both of the FORWARD drive pressures and both of the REVERSE drive pressures when the machine is in motion and the operator is not demanding a turn by energizing the solenoid valve.When a steering input is sensed, the solenoid is de-energized and the synchronization valve is closed. The pump drive gearbox couples the engine to the right drive pump at location (34) and the left drive pump at location (36). The pump drive gearbox also drives the implement pump at location (35). Remove the access panel in the floor of the cab in order to access the pumps. The drive pumps are mounted on either side of the drive gearbox.The two drive pumps are axial piston pumps with overcenter capability. The motors are connected to the final drive units.The drive motors are variable displacement piston motors which can turn in either direction.
