GAUGE AS-OIL LEVEL (DIPSTICK) 2W7606 - Caterpillar

Customers knowledgeable of maintenance requirements, proper operating techniques and how to avoid failures of their Caterpillar products realize lower owning and operating costs. To that end, Caterpillar and Caterpillar Dealers offer customer training, tailored to individual markets.
Factory courses will be conducted in the Peoria Training Center and are 4 1/2 day schools, beginning 8 a.m. Monday and ending at noon on Friday. All Peoria Training Center classes have a size limitation of eight students. Enrollments are confirmed on a first come, first served basis. There is a course fee of $300 per student, payable 30 days after class starts. All transportation to and from Peoria and hotel accommodations are for the customer's account. Course Descriptions
Small Bore Master Mechanics
Course Codes 6100, cover systems operations, troubleshooting techniques and repair procedures for 3208, 3300 and 3400 Series Engines. There is on-iron training, but disassembly and assembly is not covered. Emphasis will be on planned engine maintenance and repair.
Large Bore Master Mechanics
Course Series 6350, cover systems operation, troubleshooting techniques and repair of Caterpillar Large Bore Engines - 3412, 6.25" Bore and 3500 Series Engines. There is on-iron training, however disassembly and assembly are not covered. Emphasis will be on planned engine maintenance and repair.
Electric Power Generation Master Mechanics
Course Series 6200, covers the latest techniques in planned maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of Caterpillar generators and voltage regulators. Proper maintenance of the air intake, lubrication, fuel and cooling systems on Caterpillar engines will also be covered.
Gas Engines Master Mechanics
Course Series 6600, covers the carburetion and ignition systems of gas engines. The majority of class time will be spent doing tests and adjustments on a running engine. Emphasis will be on planned engine maintenance and repair.
The Large Bore and Small Bore Master Mechanic training offered this year is not initially broken down by market. Market emphasis will be determined for these classes upon receipt of enrollments.Schedule
