Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the rocker arms and the rocker shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rocker Arm and Shaft - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove valve rocker arms (7) and unit injector rocker arm (2) from rocker shaft (3) .Note: Check the condition of all components. Replace any worn components or damaged components with new parts.Note: Do not reuse the O-ring seals on the rocker arm adjustment screws if the buttons have been removed from the adjustment screws.
Remove button (6) from adjuster screw (5) in valve rocker arm (7) .
Remove button (4) from adjuster screw (1) in unit injector rocker arm (2) .
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the remaining rocker arm assemblies.
