Remove the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Remove".
Remove the filter from the weep hole in the housing.

Remove bolts (1) and cover (2) .

Remove O-ring seal (3) .

Remove nut (5), lock (6), and gear (4) .

Remove key (8) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (7) .

Note: Press the shaft from the gear side in order to remove the shaft from the housing.
Use a suitable press and Tooling (B) in order to remove impeller (9) and shaft (10) .
Remove impeller (9) from shaft (10) .
Remove seal (14) from shaft (10) .
Remove bearing (11), bearing (13), and spacer (12) from the housing.

Remove lip seal (15) .
