The 1105146 Damper Assembly used on certain 3176B Engine applications needs to be removed from Parts Stock.
Action Required
Remove all 1105146 Damper Assemblies from Parts Stock.
TEPS/MEPS dealers are reimbursed for defective Parts Stock by returning the defective Parts Stock to their administering Caterpillar dealer for replacement.
Service Claim Allowances
Submit one claim for all 1105146 Damper Assemblies removed from Parts Stock.
US and Canadian Dealers Only - When submitting a Parts Stock claim use 99Z00007 in the Product Identification Number Field.
Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
