1 2 5P-8215 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
2 2 318-1783 Duo-Cone Seal Gp The rubber toric seals and all the contacting surfaces must be clean and dry at assembly. Before assembly, apply a thin layer of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The seal rings must be assembled square. The rubber toric seal should not bulge and the rubber toric seal should not twist.
3 - - Protect the threads of the shaft and end face of the shaft from paint and rust.
4 1 9F-2247 Pipe Plug Apply Loctite 567 to the thread of the pipe plug.
5 - - Align surface (5) with surface (6) within 10 degrees.

7 2 8T-6430 Bolts Before assembly, apply Loctite 243 to the threads.
Torque to 570 50 N m (420 37 lb ft).
- - - End play for the idler wheel:
Minimum is 0.25 mm (0.010 inch).
Maximum is 1.21 mm (0.048 inch).
