Attach Tooling (B) to pressure tap (2) and install the floorplates.
Start the engine. Run the engine at high idle. Make sure that the parking brake is engaged.
Move all the control levers into the HOLD position.
The correct reading on Tooling (B) is 3000 kPa (435 psi), which is the output pressure of the pump in the low pressure standby condition. If the pressure reading is below 2000 kPa (290 psi) or above 3700 kPa (535 psi), check the margin pressure setting. Refer to the test for margin pressure in Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Discharge Pressure - Test".
Move the tiller handle back and forth to the stops for steering. Release the tiller. If the pressure on the tetragauge does not return to the reading from Step 5, the steering linkage should be adjusted.
Adjustments to the pump output should not be made based on the results of the test. If the reading is not correct, run the margin pressure test.Test Procedure (High Pressure Cutoff)
Assemble Tooling (A). Refer to Illustration 1 for the orientation of the parts. Refer to Table 2 for the required parts information.
Remove the floorplates.

Attach hose (A1) to pressure tap (2). Attach hose (A9) to pressure tap (1) .
Start the engine. Run the engine at high idle. Release the parking brake. Activate the service brakes.
Move the tiller handle to a position between HOLD and the MID STEER LEFT POSITION.
The correct reading on Tooling (A5) is 38000 700 kPa (5500 100 psi). This pressure is the output pressure of the pump in the condition of high pressure stall. The reading for the pressure differential should be below 345 kPa (50 psi) with a maximum oil temperature of 66°C (151°F).
If the high pressure reading is not correct, the pressure cutoff spool should be adjusted. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Control Valve (Steering) -
