Remove plate (1) and plate (2).

Remove nut (3) and cover (4). Remove nut (5) (Behind cover (4)) in order to disconnect the wire assembly. Remove nut (6) in order to disconnect the cable assembly. Remove nut (7) in order to disconnect the cable assembly.

Attach a suitable lifting device to electric starting motor (8). The weight of electric starting motor (8) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb). Remove bolts (9). Remove electric starting motor (8). Remove the gasket (not shown) from electric starting motor (9). Installation Procedure
Install electric starting motor (8) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten nut (7) to a torque of 31 4 N m (274 35 lb in)
Tighten nut (6) to a torque of 31 4 N m (274 35 lb in)
Tighten nut (5) to a torque of 4 1 N m (35 9 lb in)
