GEAR A 0548003 - Caterpillar

1. Remove four bolts (1) and remove tilt cylinder guard (2). 2. Remove bolt (3) and the washer from the collet assemblies in the rod end of the tilt cylinder. 3. Use tooling (A) to remove the collet assembly. Tighten the forcing bolts evenly and remove the collet. Repeat for the other side collet. 4. Attach a suitable lifting strap and hoist to the tilt cylinder as shown. 5. Support the bottom of the tilt link and remove pin (4).6.
