Information:

At operating temperature, the oil in the hydraulic oil tank and in the hydraulic system is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Prior to disconnecting any hydraulic lines, release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Stop the engine. Move the hydraulic control levers to all positions to release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Release the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank. Remove the fill cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when it is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to release the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system by moving the hydraulic control levers to all positions. Release the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank by slowly loosening the cap. 2. Put identification marks on all hydraulic hoses which are connected to cooling and test manifold (1) for assembly purposes.3. Disconnect eight hoses (2) from the cooling and test manifold. Check the condition of the o-ring seals in the fittings in the cooling and test manifold. If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.4. Disconnect hose (3) from the pressure gauge.5. Remove four bolts (4) that hold the cooling and test manifold to the firewall. Remove cooling and test manifold (1). Install the cooling and test manifold in the reverse order of removal.6. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See, "Hydraulic Tank" in the Operation & Maintenance Manual.Disassemble And Assemble Cooling And Test Manifold
Start By:a. remove cooling and test manifold1. Be sure the cooling and test manifold is thoroughly clean prior to disassembling it. Relief valves (1) and shuttle valves (2) are serviced as an assembly.2. Remove two relief valves (1) from the valve body. Remove the o-ring seals from the relief valves. Check the condition of the o-ring seals. If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.3. Remove two shuttle valves (2) from the valve body. Remove the o-ring seals from the shuttle valves. Check the condition of the o-ring seals. If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. 4. Remove the eight pressure ports from the valve body. Pressure ports (5) each contain an orifice (4). These pressure ports may be labeled as X5 and X6.5. If necessary, remove plugs (3) from the valve body. Assemble the cooling and test manifold in the reverse order of disassembly. Prior to assembling the cooling and test manifold, put clean hydraulic oil on the components of the manifold.6. After installation of the cooling and test manifold, refer to the Testing And Adjusting module for the correct procedure to set the relief pressures.End By:a. install cooling and test manifold
