1. Remove the bottom guard beneath the front trunnion.2. Remove four bolts (1) from the trunnion mounting. 3. Remove bolt (2) and clamp (3) from the hydraulic hose. Move the hydraulic hose to one side. 4. Fasten a hoist to the front lifting bracket on the engine. Raise the engine approximately 6 mm (.25 in.). Weight of the engine is 4363 Kg (6000 lb.).5. Put steel plates and jacks underneath the front pads of the front housing for support. 6. Remove the bolts that hold the front trunnion (4) to the front housing. Remove the front trunnion. Weight is 54 Kg (120 lb.). For installation of the front trunnion, reverse the procedures of Steps 1 through 6. Tighten the bolts in Step 6 to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb. ft.). Tighten the bolts in Step 2 to a torque of 200 20 N m (150 15 lb.ft.).
