Ensure that all the necessary isolation switches and controls are locked out and tagged before the system is serviced or repaired.

Perform the automation system preparation for troubleshooting procedure before entering the operations area. Reference: Refer to Troubleshooting, Testing, and Adjusting, "Automation System Preparation for Troubleshooting" in this manual.
Move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect harnesses from the Automation ICM.

(2) Cover
(3) Resilient mount
Remove security screws (1) retaining Automation ICM cover (2).

(4) Retaining bolts
Remove retaining bolts (3).
Remove the faulty Automation ICM from machine.
Replace cover (2) on the faulty Automation ICM. Automation ICM - Replace

Move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

(3) Resilient mount
Remove security screws (1) retaining Automation ICM cover (2).
Align the replacement Automation ICM on resilient mounts (3).

Install retaining bolts (4).
Replace cover (2).
Install security screws (1).
Install 335-4414 Plug As on MAS harness, previously connected to Automation ICM.
Cover Ethernet cable to prevent ingress of dirt and/or grease. Note: Update the AICM firmware where required.Reference: Refer to procedure Troubleshooting, Testing, and Adjusting, "Interface Control Module (Automation) - Replace".Reference: Refer to procedure Troubleshooting, Testing, and Adjusting, "Interface Control Module (Automation) - Flash Program".
