Remove the camshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft - Remove and Install".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use Tooling (A) to remove the camshaft bearing from the cylinder block.Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Ensure that the bore in the cylinder block for the camshaft bearing is clean and free of debris.

Use Tooling (A) to install the camshaft bearing in the cylinder block.Note: Align the oil holes in the camshaft bearing and the cylinder block. The camshaft bearing should be installed to a depth that is flush with the face of the recess in the cylinder block.End By: Install the camshaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Camshaft - Remove and Install".
