Rework Procedure
The rework steps are as follows:

1) Remove the bracket that is mounted on the engine and the clips to the coupling of the hose.
(Note: if this bracket is present, then the fitting is in the correct orientation for the assembly of the new bracket. Otherwise, be sure that the fitting is oriented (close to) straight down off the compressor. **Reorienting the fitting will require the refrigerant to be discharged. And after loosening the bolt which mounts the fittings onto the compressor, it will need to be retightened to a torque of 25 +/- 7 Nm**)

2) Remove the bolt and the clip that mount the electrical harness to the bottom of the compressor. They will both be replaced. For the time being, move the harness out of the way so you can mount the new bracket onto the compressor later on.

3) Add the 5P-9299 P-clip onto the tube of the fitting.

4) Orient the clip as shown in Image 1.4.1. The flat face of the the p-clip should face (and be parallel with) the engine. The bottom of the clip should be positioned approximately 1 cm above the cap on the A/C charging port on the fitting. (This location will line up the clip with the bracket in the next step.)

5) The bracket now mounts onto the compressor using 8T-4196 Bolt, and a new 147-0385 Clip is used on the harness. You should tighten the nut/bolt so that the bracket is flush with the compressor face, but leave it loose enough so that you can adjust the position within the slot so that the bracket can be properly aligned with the clip on the fitting.

Note: The bracket should be flush with the compressor, and the clip for the harness mounts on top of the bracket.

6) Now, with the bolt mounting the bracket to the compressor loose enough to adjust the bracket position, line up the bracket and the p-clip on the fitting. Assemble the p-clip to the bracket with an 8T-4136 Bolt and 8T-4133 Nut.

7) Once the clip is tightened onto the bracket, tighten the bolt/nut mounting the bracket to the compressor. Make sure that the p-clip on the harness is positioned so that the harness does not rub on the bracket.
