Compact Instrument ClusterDiagnostic codes can be displayed on the operator monitor. The codes can be viewed when the monitor is in the service mode. Press and hold both the Mode Switch and the Scroll Switch for 3 seconds in order to toggle between operator modes and service modes. Use the Mode Switch to move to different modes. Service Mode 0 lists diagnostic codes and event codes. Use the Scroll Switch to scroll through different submodes or screens for each mode.
Diagnostic Code Indicator - The symbol indicates that diagnostic codes are active on the machine or the service mode has been entered.

Press the "OK" button in order to view the main menu.

At the main menu page, scroll to the "Service" menu option and press the "OK" button.

At the service menu page, the first option in the service menu will be "Diagnostics/Events". Press "OK" in order to view the list of Active codes and Logged codes.

Messenger Diagnostics/Events list page
The Diagnostics/Events list page will show the following: MID, CID-FMI or EID-WCI, the number of code occurrences and if the code is currently active or not. Pressing "OK" on any of these codes will display the Diagnostic/Event detail screen.Note: If the code is Active, there will be an "A" in the "ACT" column.

Messenger Diagnostic/Event Detail ScreenThe detail screen will display the following: source ECM, CID-FMI or EID-WCI, a description of the failed component and the failure type.
