Remove all 241-3352 Filter Housing Groups from dealer parts stock.
The 241-3352 Filter Housing Groups have a square lug on the bottom of the canister. The new canister has a hex shaped lug.
****Affected Product****
Remove the existing 241-3352 Filter Housing Assembly and replace with a new 321-5967 Filter Housing Assembly. The newly designed filter housing can be easily identified by a "hex" lug on the bottom of the filter housing. The previous design has a square lug.
A backup ring was recommended as an interim corrective action only. DO NOT use a 316-5366 Backup Ring with the new 321-5967 Filter Housing Assembly.
