Introduction
The following will explain the procedure for purging the steering system.Required Tools

(1) The adapter must be change 02. Exterior thread is 3/8 by 24. Interior threads are 7/16 by 20.Machine Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location.
Chock the wheels.
Lower all of the implements.

Steering cylinders
Install bolts and washers (F) onto the locations (1) and (2) that are called out on the front axle body. Note: Be careful not to engage the wheel lean. This could result in damage to Tool (F).

Remove plugs (2) from each steering cylinder (1).
Use the parts that are listed in Table 1 in order to connect the port of the rod end to the port of the head end. Perform this procedure for both of the cylinders. Purge Procedure (Steering System)
Start the engine and operate the engine at low idle.
Align the left hand joystick control so that the joystick control will match the steering angle of the front wheels.
Move the left hand joystick control all the way to the left and hold for 30 seconds.
Move the left hand joystick control all the way to the right and hold for 30 seconds.
Shut off the engine.
Remove the parts that are listed in Table 1 from locations (1) and (2).
Check the oil level in the hydraulic tank. Purge Procedure (Signal Network)
Reference: Before you perform this procedure, refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Machine Preparation for Troubleshooting".Note: Perform the Steering System−Purge procedures before you perform the purge procedure for the signal network.

Pump control valve
(3) Purge valve for flow compensator
Use a hex wrench. Turn purge valve (3) counterclockwise by one turn in order to open the valve.
Start the engine and operate the engine at low idle. During this procedure, a small amount of oil may leak by the purge valve.
The implement lockout switch must be in the unlocked position.
Select an implement.
Move the joystick control in order to extend the implement cylinder. Hold the joystick control in this position for ten seconds.
Move the joystick control in order to retract the implement cylinder. Hold the joystick control in this position for ten seconds.
Repeat for each implement circuit on the machine.
Turn purge valve (3) clockwise in order to close the valve.
Stop the engine.
