Install pressure sensor (1) in between the gas pressure regulator mounted on the engine and the gas supply. A No. 4 Port (7/16-20-2B) is available on the pressure sensor, and will need to be plumbed appropriately into the gas supply line.Note: Additional support may need to be provided to the gas supply lines.

The cable connecting the pressure sensor to the operator control panel should be appropriately routed, and secured to the engine following existing wiring with cable ties. A hole will need to be added to the Operator Control Panel, and gland or cable nut installed with the cable.
The pressure sensor end will be terminated, with the following pinout on the Ampseal connector:
Pin 1 (Power)
Pin 2 (Ground)
Pin 3 (Signal)
The operator control panel end will be terminated at the following locations:
AI3-PS (Power)
AI3- (Ground)
AI3+ (Signal)Note: If shielded cable is used, the cable may be terminated to A3-SH.

Cut the 16 gauge wire into 5 pieces of wire 304.8 mm (1 ft) long.
Remove the wire conduit on the left side of the panel, and locate a place where connector receptacle (5) will be placed. Refer to Illustration 5 for the correct location.
Terminate a wire from DO-05 (D) to pin A of a connector plug (2). Refer to Illustration 3 for the correct location.
Terminate a wire from Batt- (F) to pin B of a connector plug (2). Refer to Illustration 4 for the correct location.
Install plug lock wedge (3) into plug connector (2).
Install plug connector (2) into the top left-hand side of connector receptacle (5). Refer to Illustration 3 for the correct location.
Terminate a wire from DI-05 (E) to pin A of connector plug (2). Refer to Illustration 3 for the correct location.
Install plug lock wedge (3) into plug connector (2).
Install plug connector (2) into the bottom of connector receptacle (5). Refer to Illustration 3 for the correct location.
Terminate the remaining two pieces of wire to the 2 pin 155-2269 Connector Plug As.
Install the 3E-3365 Receptacle Lock Wedge into the 155-2269 Connector Plug As.
Plug the 155-2269 Connector Plug As into the 381-3745 Resistor.
Terminate the two pieces of loose wire to pins A and B of connector (2).
Install plug lock wedge (4) into plug connector (2).
Install plug connector (2) into the top right-hand side of connector receptacle (5). Refer to Illustration 3 for the correct location.
Fit the 381-3745 Resistor into the wire conduit and replacing the conduit cover when complete. Make sure to locate the resistor in a position where heat may be dissipated.EMCP Configuration
Note: Engine must be in stop with 0 engine speed to complete these configurations. Access the below configurations with Cat® Electronic Technician (ET) in the configuration screen for the Electronic Modular Control Panel(EMCP).
