Location of new parts.Formerly, the lever on the centershift lock pin valve had to be in the "index" position to prevent the flow of air to the brake valve. If the centershift lock lever was put in any position other than the "index" position, it was possible for air in the system to flow to the parking brake valve. If the parking brake control lever was moved to the "unlock" position, it was then possible for this air to release the brakes, even though the disconnect switch was in the "off" position.
Adaptable To: The 6D1432 Check Valve is in effect with and adaptable to the motor graders with the serial numbers shown in the chart. The new parts are direct replacements for the former parts as shown in Chart A. The new parts are in effect with and adaptable to the motor graders with the serial numbers shown in Chart B.
