Stopping the engine after it has been working under load, can result in overheating and accelerated wear of the engine components.Refer to the following procedure in order to allow the engine to cool. This will also prevent excessive temperatures in the turbocharger center housing, which could cause oil coking problems.
While the machine is stopped, run the engine for five minutes at LOW IDLE.

Push the governor control lever to the forward position. Turn the start switch key to the OFF position. Remove the start switch key.

Open the access door at the rear of the machine. Turn the red handle of the fuel shutoff valve counterclockwise in order to shut off the fuel supply.
