Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to water pump (2). The weight of water pump (2) is approximately 55 kg (120 lb).
Install a new O-ring seal for the joint between the water pump and the front housing. Apply a light coat of glycerin to the O-ring seal prior to installation.
Install Tooling (B) in the front housing.
Place water pump (2) on the front housing and slide water pump (2) into position.
Install bolts (3). Remove Tooling (B) and install remaining bolts (3).

Connect elbow (1) to water pump (2).
Connect the connection for the water inlet.
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
