start by:a) remove engine and radiator This can be done in the machine if the pump drive is removed.1. Put the engine and radiator in position on engine stand (B).
TYPICAL EXAMPLE2. Remove the bolts that hold flexible coupling (1) to the flywheel. Remove the flexible coupling. If the flexible coupling can not be loosened from the flywheel, remove the flexible coupling with the following procedure: a) Remove the bolts that hold the driver to the adapter. Remove the driver.b) Install tooling (A) and remove the adapter from the flywheel.Install Flexible Coupling
1. Put the flexible coupling in position on the flywheel. Install bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 42 5 lb.ft. (58 7 N m). If the driver was removed from the adapter, install the driver on the adapter. Tighten the bolts that hold the driver to the adapter to a torque of 200 20 lb.ft. (270 25 N m). 2. Install indicator group (A) on the flywheel housing. Turn the crankshaft one complete revolution and measure the total movement (runout) of driver (2). The runout must not be more than .020 in.
