Install the replacement engine in the original mounting location.
Connect the transmission to the torque converter.

(2) 9W-4891 PlateNote: The heat shield plates (1) and (2) on the rear of the original engine will not fit onto the new engine (for machines with serial number prefix (S/N: 9TC) and (S/N: 1XJ) only.
If the heat shields are to be installed on the rear lifting bracket, then some modifications will need to be made to the heat shields. Install the heat shields to the new rear lifting bracket before the engine is installed inside the frame (for machines with serial number prefix (S/N: 9TC) and (S/N: 1XJ) only.
Check the fuel supply line and if the line is in good condition, then extend the fuel supply line to connect to the primary fuel filter supply port. (If the fuel line is damaged or not in a condition to be reused, then skip the next few steps and follow from Step 8.
Modify the 110-6115 Bracket As as shown in Illustration 5.
Install using an 0S-1590 Bolt and a 5M-2894 Hard Washer.
Install adapters, nut, lock washer as shown in Illustration 4.
Fabricate hose as required using 8T-6947 Plate and Film Gp ( 26 cm (10.24 inch)) and two 9X-3882 Coupling as shown in Illustration 4.
If the fuel line is damaged or has wear, then replace this line with a single line of approximately 3370 25 mm (133 1 inch) long connecting tank to the fuel filter. (Refer to 8E-4731 Fuel Lines Gp)
Install the 183-2352 Fumes Disposal Gp. This will be mounted on the new engine's primary fuel filter (Refer to 183-2352 Fumes Disposal Gp).Installation of the Air Intake and Exhaust
