start by:a) remove arm cushion (left side only) 1. Pull the opposite lever back and remove screw (1) and knob (2) from the steering clutch and brake levers. Remove the other knob the same way. 2. Remove three bolts (3) and washers that hold panel (4) in place. Remove panel (4). 3. Remove rod (5) from the levers.4. Remove nut (9) and bolt that hold bracket (8) to the control lever. Remove bracket (8).5. Disconnect the wires for the back-up alarm switch at the connectors. 6. Remove two bolts (6) and switch (7) from the left console. 7. Bend lock (11) down. Remove bolt (12) and nut that hold control lever (10) in place. Remove transmission control lever (10). Remove the spacer from control lever (10). 8. Remove bushing (13) from control lever (10) with tooling (A).Install Transmission Control Lever And Back-Up Alarm Switch
For correct adjustment of the transmission control lever, see SPECIFICATIONS Form No. SENR7488-01 before installation. 1. Install bushing (2) in transmission control lever (1) with tooling (A). 2. Put spacer (3) in position in the bushings. 3. Put transmission control lever (1) in position and install the lock, bolt, lock and nut that hold the control lever to the yoke. 4. Install bracket (4) on the control lever. 5. Put back-up alarm switch (5) in position on the side of the console. Install the two bolts that hold it in place. Connect wires (7) at the connectors.6. Install rod (6) to the rear lever and control lever. 7. Put panel (8) in position on the left console and install the three bolts that hold it in place. 8. Pull the opposite lever back and install knob (9) on the lever. Install the knob on the other lever.end by:a) install arm cushions (left side only)
