Installation Procedure
You will need to remove the existing 154-4865 Scraper or you will need to remove the existing 202-8981 Scraper in order to install the new scraper.

Remove two bolts and washers (1) .
Remove plate (2) .Note: Plate (2) is only located at two places (outboard sides of the tractor).
Remove wear plate (3) .
Remove existing scraper (4) from block (5). Make sure that you retain two spacers (6) .
Illustration 2 g00910333
Loosen two bolts (7) that are holding block (5). The block is attached to guard (8) .Note: Step 6 is very important. This step minimizes the overhang of the new scraper. This step also helps keep the scraper from deforming with heavy accumulation of debris. Also, this step will maximize the amount of adjustment for the new scraper.
Slide block (5) all the way toward the drive wheel. This direction is toward the rear of the tractor. Then tighten the bolts.

Measure the thickness of two spacers (6). Make sure that the thickness of a spacer is less than the thickness of a new scraper. If the spacer is thicker than the new scraper, grind the two spacers to a dimension smaller than the thickness of the new scraper. The spacers should be ground to a size that will make sure that the scraper can be clamped tight against the block.Note: If the thickness of the spacer is too large, the scraper will be relatively loose on the block. As a result, the scraper will loosen after a short period of time.
Position new scraper (9) on block (5). Place two spacers (6) in the slots in the spacer.
Install wear plate (3) .
Install plate (2) .Note: Plate (2) is only located at two places on the outboard side of the tractor.
Install two bolts and washers (1). Lightly tighten the bolts. Do not tighten the bolts completely at this point.
Set new scraper (9) to dimension (D). Then set wear plate (3) to dimension (C) .
If new scraper (9) can not be adjusted far enough away from the drive wheel in order to obtain dimension (D), then complete the following procedure:
Slide new scraper (9) all the way toward the front of the tractor away from the drive wheel.
Tighten two bolts (1) in order to hold scraper (9) in place.
Then move block (5) in order to obtain the required clearance between the scraper and the drive wheel. This adjustment will give the new scraper the best possible support from block (5). This will also minimize the overhang.Note: After you adjust the scraper, make sure that you rotate the belt one complete revolution in order to ensure that the scraper does not contact the drive wheel.
Again tighten bolts (1). verify that the scraper is properly secured.
Repeat Steps 1 through 14 for the remaining three locations for the scrapers.
Slowly move the tractor so that you can make sure that the four scrapers are not contacting the drive wheel.Operating and
