Assembly Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Do not allow dirt to enter the fuel system. Thoroughly clean the area around a fuel system component that will be disconnected. Fit a suitable cover over disconnected fuel system component.
Note: Check the condition of the O-rings. If the O-rings are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install injection actuation pressure control valve (9) in block assembly (2), if the injection actuation pressure control valve was removed during the disassembly procedure. Tighten the injection actuation pressure control valve to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Install spacer (10) and nut (11), if the spacer and the nut were removed during the disassembly procedure. Tighten the nut to a torque of 5.5 1.5 N m (49 13 lb in).

Install plugs (7) and plug (8), if the plugs were removed during the disassembly procedure. Tighten plugs (7) and (8) to a torque of 15.5 0.5 N m (11 0.4 lb ft).

Install four O-rings (5) between the block assembly and compensator (1). Lightly lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil.
Install plug (6) in the compensator, if the plug was removed during the disassembly procedure. Tighten the plug to a torque of 25 3 N m (18 2 lb ft).

Install four O-rings (4) in block assembly (2). Lightly lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil.
Install plugs (3) in compensator (1), if the plugs were removed during the disassembly procedure. Tighten the plugs to a torque of 10.0 0.2 N m (89 2 lb in). End By:
Install the injection actuation pressure control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Injection Actuation Pressure Control Valve - Install".
