(1) Bearings (eight places). When replacement is necessary, use a driver only on the end that is stamped.(3),(9) Torque for nuts ... 14 4 N m (10 3 lb ft)(5) If repair or assembly is necessary, be sure washers are installed as shown.Adjustment Procedure:
1. Tighten nut (4) until the force needed to move knob (2) is 21 4 N (4.7 1 lb).2. Adjust the rod assembly until the force needed to move knob (6) over center is 40 5 N (9.0 1 lb).3. With lever and knob (6) as shown, adjust rod (7) until pin (8) is a free fit.
Remove pin (8) before tilting cab.
