In order to prevent possible personal injury, release the air pressure from the air tank before disconnecting any components of the air system.
If equipped with a sound suppression arrangement, refer to Special Instruction, "Installation of 384-3840 Sound Suppression Panel Gp (LH) (If Equipped)" for specific panel locations and the correct removal or installation procedure.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Use of Wheel Chocks".
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch".

Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and hose assembly (2).

Disconnect hose assembly (3).

Attach Tooling (A) onto air tank (4). Attach a suitable lifting device onto air tank (4). The weight of air tank (4) is approximately 82 kg (180 lb).
Remove U-bolt (5).

Remove bolts (6). Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device to remove air tank (4). Installation Procedure
Install air tank (4) in the reverse order of removal.
