VIMS configuration files for PLE640 are downloaded as ".CFG" file format from Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS Web) instead of ".cfg" file format. The difference in capitalization prevents the ".CFG" file from being uploaded into the PLE640 device.Solution
Download the file from SIS Web to your computer and rename the file extension from ".CFG" to ".cfg". By changing the file format to lower capitalization, the file will be compatible with the PLE640 device.
